We responded to our customers home to repair a leaking cast iron drain line serving the kitchen and laundry room. Upon inspection, we found the existing cast iron piping was deteriorated and actively leaking. To resolve the issue, we removed the damaged cast iron drain line. We then installed new PVC drain piping to provide reliable drainage and prevent future leaks. A new drain line was also brought up into kitchen cabinet to properly serve the kitchen sink. All connections were secured and aligned to ensure proper flow. The new drain system is now functioning correctly.

We responded to our customer after they reported their washing machine overflowed and the kitchen sink began backing up frequently. Upon inspection, we found the cast iron drain line was deteriorated and leaking into the crawlspace when the kitchen and laundry plumbing were in use. The failing drain line is no longer properly handling wastewater, which is causing the recurring backups. We performed visual inspection of the affected piping and confirmed the cast iron has reached the end of its service life. To correct the issue and prevent further damage, approximately 20 feet of the cast iron line will need to be replaced. We provided our customer with a estimate to remove the damaged piping and replace it with new PVC pipe.

We responded to our customer due to wanting to replace their existing electric tankless with a more efficient Rinnai gas tankless water heater for improved performance. This upgrade required a new gas line installation to properly support the unit. After evaluation, we determined the current plumbing setup was not compatible with a gas system, so we needed to install a new gas line and ensure the venting and connections were suitable for the Rinnai gas tankless water heater. We removed the old electric water heater, installed the new Rinnai gas tankless water heater, and added a correctly sized gas line with proper fittings and shut off valves. Once the install was complete, we tested for proper ignition, gas pressure, and verified leak free operation.

We responded to our customer as part of an ongoing bathroom remodel project, where updated and more efficient plumbing fixtures were needed to complete the renovation. During our visit, we installed a new Kohler Cimarron toilet, ensuring the wax seal, closet bolts, and water supply connection were set and secured for a long lasting seal. We also upgraded the lavatory faucet, removing the old fixture, cleaning the sink deck, and installing the new faucet with fresh supply lines. Lastly, we replaced the shower trim, confirming compatibility with the existing valve and ensuring the new handle, escutcheon plate, and shower head were properly aligned and operating smoothly. Once all installations were complete, we restored water to each fixture and performed a detailed plumbing system check. We inspected all connection points, tested the fixtures under normal operating pressure, and verified leak free operation, proper drainage, smooth water flow and secure mounting.

We responded to our customer due to them noticing a sewer gas odor in the basement. During inspection, we found that the smell was the strongest near the basement bathroom, specifically around the sewage ejector pump basin. As part of the troubleshooting process, we sealed the ejector pump lid with foam to test whether the lid is the source of the odor. This step will help narrow down the cause through process of elimination. If the odor dissipates over the next few days, the pump lid and gasket will need to be replaced to create a permanent airtight seal. We will follow up with our customer after monitoring to confirm whether the issue has been resolved.

We responded to our customers home regarding low water pressure in the shower located at the back of the house. Upon arrival, we tested both the hot and cold sides of the shower valve to evaluate water flow. The cold water pressure was normal, while the hot water side showed significantly reduced pressure. This indicates the issue is isolated to the hot water line supplying the shower. At this time, further diagnostics will be required to determine the exact cause, which could include restriction, valve issue, or aging plumbing components. We reviewed this with our customer and the next steps. We provided our customer with an estimate and will return once it's approved.

Our customer had contacted us for a main line stoppage that was causing drains throughout the home to backup. After evaluation, we determined the blockage was located in the main sewer line, and access was available through the sewer cleanout in the front yard. To properly clear and confirm the drain condition, we also needed to pull and reset a toilet inside the home to assist with access and testing. We ran a drain cleaning machine through the mainline cleanout, breaking up and clearing the blockage to restore full flow. We then removed the toilet , verified the line was draining correctly, and reinstalled the toilet with a new wax seal for a tight, leak free connection. Once everything was completed, we tested all fixtures to ensure proper drainage throughout the home.

We responded to our customer after they reported a leak near their water fountain. Once on site, we inspected the area and found that the bottle filler attached to the water fountain was leaking whenever the water was turned on. We performed additional diagnostics and discovered that that the water heater was also leaking, creating a second source of water damage. We discussed the issues with our customer and explained the repair and replacement options for both the bottle filler and the water heater. These solutions will stop the active leaks and help prevent further damage to the surrounding areas. After our customer approves our estimate, we will return to complete the following work.

We responded to our customer's home after they noticed a higher water bill than normal and wanted to check for possible leaks. Upon arrival, we inspected the homes plumbing fixtures and flushed the toilet multiple times to look for any signs of continuous running or hidden leaks. All visible components were functioning properly with no water movement or irregularities detected. To further verify the issue, we turned off all water fixtures in the home and inspected the water meter for any signs of active flow. The meter remained completely still, confirming there were no leaks or ongoing water usage at the time of our visit. We discussed this with our customer and advised them to continue monitoring their water water usage over the next billing cycle. If the higher water bill persists, we will return for additional testing.

We responded to our customer after they noticed their outside hose spigot was producing hot water, which is not how an exterior faucet should operate. Once on site, we evaluated the plumbing layout and had confirmed that the hose spigot had been incorrectly connected to the hot water line. This not only wastes energy but can also shorten the lifespan of the spigot and create potential safety issues. To resolve these issues, we disconnected the hot water line from the exterior faucet and reconfigured the piping so the spigot was supplied by the cold water line, as intended. After making the adjustments, we turned the water back on and tested the faucet to ensure proper temperature and leak free operation.

We responded to our customer after they contacted us reporting a leak under the kitchen sink and a shower faucet that was leaking even when turned off. After evaluation, we determined the hot and cold shutoff valves for the kitchen sink faucet had broken off and were actively leaking, causing water to drip beneath the sink. Over at the shower, the shower cartridge had gone bad, which was allowing water to leak through the handle even if the faucet was off. We replaced both the hot and cold shutoff valves under the kitchen sink to stop the leaks and restore proper control to the faucet. We then installed a new shower cartridge, ensuring the shower handle sealed properly and no longer allowed water to pass through. After completing the repairs, we tested all the fixtures for leak free operation.

Our customer had contacted us to discuss replacing their current 50 gallon electric water heater. The current water heater is 20 years old. They are also having an issue with no water pressure from the tub faucet. No other faucet in the home is having this issue. After discussing multiple options, we recommended replacing the water heater first before deciding on the faucet repair as replacing the water heater may fix this issue. Since the tub faucet releases the most volume of water, it could simply be that the sediment from the old water heater is causing a blockage on the tub faucet. We arrived today to perform this work. We removed customer's existing water heater and installed a new Rheem 50 gallon electric water heater with a new cold water shut off valve and a new thermal expansion tank. Once the new water heater was installed, the tub faucet was no longer providing little to no pressure, it was working properly as should.
Our customer had contacted us to discuss replacing their current 50 gallon electric water heater. The current water heater is 20 years old. They are also having an issue with no water pressure from the tub faucet. No other faucet in the home is having this issue. Responded to customer's home for a leak in the crawl space and no hot water. After evaluation, found the water lines connecting to the water heater were leaking. The water heater is also very old and leaking but the customer wanted to only repair the water lines for now then have us come back at a later date to replace the water heater. We installed new hot and cold water lines from the water heater with a new shut off valve as well. When we return we will credit part of today's visit towards the water heater replacement since we upgraded the water lines and shut off valve.

We responded to our customer after a heating and air technician was unable to clear a stoppage in the AC drain line during their visit. Once on site, we inspected the drain system and quickly determined that the drain line was clogged with spray foam, which was preventing proper condensation drainage. We then performed a drain cleaning and removal of hardened foam, clearing the obstruction from the line. After removing the blockage, we flushed the drain to ensure the line was completely opened and draining as it should be .

Responded to call for a leak in the ceiling. Once on site, found the basement drop ceiling tile has a wet spot on it. We removed the tile and found the condensation line for the AC unit was leaking onto the ceiling below. We removed the section of leaking condensate line and found line extremely clogged and cause of leak. We installed a new section of pipe to resolve the issue.

Responded to a call for a strong sewer smell in basement when it rains. Once on site, we inspected the drain lines for traps to block the smell but was unable to locate any plumbing lines that could lead to the smell in the basement. While on site, we also inspected customer's shower due to shower not having proper pressure. We were able to clean the screen on the shower head and return pressure to normal.

We recently provided customer with a quote to replace their thermal expansion tank. Their PRV had gone bad causing the pressure in the home to be very high which damaged the thermal expansion tank. We also provided a quote to repair the tub faucet. We returned today to perform this work. We installed a new thermal expansion tank and repaired the tub faucet by replacing both cartridges, seats and springs.

My house had 2 spigots with the front spigot behind some very elaborate landscaping making it unusable. I didn't have a solution so I called TKO plumbing. Thorsten came out and helped me figure out options that would suit my needs. Out of 3 companies called, his solutions were the least invasive and made the most sense. The work was scheduled fast and at a reasonable price. TKO is knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. I will definitely call them for all my plumbing needs. Great customer service and great work. TKO is just awesome. Call them and your plumbing issues will disappear!

John was very mild mannered and easy to talk with. Not intimidating and no pressure tactics to Do anything. He dx the problem gave me a quote and I decided what I could afford to do right now. I love that they dont change a service fee to come out. Thats very uncommon these days. Will schedule at a later time for additional work to be done.
