From the very beginning, they communicated clearly, arrived exactly when they said they would, came fully prepared, worked incredibly hard, and stayed late when necessary to make sure the job was done right. They treated my home with exceptional care, covering floors with Ram Board and plastic, protecting everything, and leaving the work areas remarkably clean throughout the entire project. One of the biggest challenges involved replacing my gas water heater. They discovered that the original installation had no safe venting option, explained the issue thoroughly, and installed a Rheem hybrid electric heat pump water heater instead. They took the time to make sure everything was done safely and correctly, giving me complete confidence in the finished work. But what truly sets TKO Plumbing apart is their ability to solve difficult problems that other companies couldnt. For nearly four years, I battled an ongoing sewer fly problem. I had multiple plumbers come out, yet no one could determine the true cause. TKO Plumbing carefully investigated the issue, accurately diagnosed the problem, and repaired it without unnecessary excavation or replacing large sections of cast iron pipe in my 60-year-old home. Their solution was thoughtful, efficient, and effective, and they eliminated a problem that had frustrated me for years. Throughout the project, every member of the team demonstrated honesty, professionalism, respect, and outstanding workmanship. They earned my trust from start to finish. While completing a sewer repair for our customer in Marietta, GA, we identified a serious safety concern with the existing water heater installation. During our inspection, we found excessive heat escaping from the vent pipe and traced the vent to a discontinued fireplace flue, creating an unsafe venting configuration that did not meet current code requirements. After discussing our findings and reviewing replacement options with the homeowner, they chose to upgrade to a new Rheem ProTerra heat pump water heater. The all-electric heat pump water heater eliminated the need for venting while providing a safer, more energy-efficient solution for the home. We tested the new installation to verify everything was operating properly before completing the project.
We responded to our customer in Marietta, GA to diagnose persistent sewer flies in their basement bathroom and a toilet that continued to clog despite multiple plumbing companies attempting to clear the drain line. After extensive diagnostics, we discovered the basement bathroom had been improperly connected to a discontinued cast iron sewer line beneath the concrete floor that had been permanently capped off. To permanently correct the issue, we removed the toilet and opened the concrete floor to install a new Liberty sewer ejector pump, pump basin, lid, check valve, shutoff valve, and new PVC sewer piping. The new sewer ejector system was then connected to the home's active sewer line. After thoroughly testing the new system and confirming proper operation, we repoured the concrete and will return after the homeowner's new flooring is installed to reinstall the toilet and vanity.

TKO Plumbing responded quickly and were out the next day to take care of our gas problems. John was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Your turnaround time was fantastic. Pricing was a bit higher than we were expecting but paid it given the time crunch. A part of the quoted job was not finished for some reason, but after bringing it to your attention, John was back out the next day, he actually just left and did a great job with the last part.
